Foreign Ministry provides hotline numbers for citizens in case they get lost in Jerusalem

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided hotline numbers for citizens of Georgia in case they get lost in the old city of Jerusalem.

According to the statement released by Foreign Ministry, Israeli border crossing procedures have been made stricter in connection with the Easter holiday, and therefore, travelers must carefully observe the relevant requirements.

The Ministry warns the citizens who have health problems to refrain from arriving at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre as it is expected to be overcrowded. Those, who will attend the Holy Fire Ceremony, must abide by the instructions of police.

If anybody gets lost, he/she must call hotline at: +972 26226100, and police officer will bring him/her to the nearest police station, from where they will be able to call the Consular Service of the Embassy of Georgia.
