Pre-trial sitting into case of Davit Kharshiladze

A pre-trial sitting is being held at Tbilisi City Court into case of Davit Kharshiladze, son of Eliso Kiladze, Editor-In-Chief of “Chronicle +” Newspaper. 

Lawyers demand abolishment of imposed imprisonment as well as annulations of protocols of body-search and detention. The defense side claims that the time of filling-in the documents is forged. 

Kharshiladze does not plead guilty. Investigation is underway on charge of buying and keeping drugs. The charge envisages from 8 to 20 years in prison.
