Lawyer of Gia Sosanashvili not to apply to Appeals Court

Soso Joglidze, Lawyer of Gia Sosanashvili, police officer charged for murder of Yuri Vazagashvili, father of the youth killed during 2006 Special Operation, will not apply to Appeals Court to complain against the resolution of City Court based on which Sosanashvili was imposed preliminary imprisonment. 

The lawyer will begin studying of the material regarding the case starting today. In case found guilty, Sosanashvili faces from 11 to 14 years in prison. The pre-trial sitting is scheduled for April 2.
