Four candidates for post of judges at Strasbourg Court to be presented to government

Four people have been shortlisted from the list of the Strasbourg Court candidate judges from Georgia. 

Lali Papiashvili has got the highest score (4.82), she is followed by Tamar Alania (4.45). The other two candidates Otar Sichinava and Ioseb Bachiashvili received the same points (3.75). Georgia’s Public Defender Ucha Nanuashvili has presented this information to reporters. 

The government of Georgia will select two out of the three. One of the two must be woman. The competition was announced again after Strasbourg Court approved only the candidacy of Lado Chanturia. The court disapproved the candidacies of Shota Getsadze and Sofio Japaridze.
