Grave discovered in Kalauri village inspected by specialists

The grave discovered at Monastery Complex in Kalauri village, Gurjaani Municipality was inspected by specialists today. 

The grave presumably belongs to King Kvirike of eastern Kakheti region. Archaeological excavations will begin at the monastery complex upon the agreement between Cultural Heritage Agency and Georgian Patriarchate. Restoration works will be carried out with financial support of Kartu Fund.
