Lawyers of convicted Archpriest comment about guilty verdict made into Cyanide Case

Lawyers of Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze, charged for having attempted to poison a high-tanking clergyman with Cyanide and convicted to 9 years imprisonment based on the decision of Tbilisi City Court made on September 5, presume that one group in Georgia’s Patriarchate acted against Mamaladze. 

Lawyer Giorgi Pantsulaia also said that Archpriest Iakob had known that conspiracy had been plotted against Mamaladze. According to Lawyer, the court made an unfair decision. The defense side will appeal against the verdict in Georgia and then in Strasbourg.
