Oppositional members left the sitting of Sakrebulo (City Assembly) where the issue of changing the status to the nearby territory of Pushkin Square in Tbilisi is being discussed.

Members of Environment Protection and Urban Planning Commissions are due to consider the possibility of transferring the land-plot in hands of Panorama Company, which is building a hotel on the territory of Pushkin Square.

Members of National Movement and European Georgia parties insisted on adjournment of the sitting. Patrol police were called at site when the situation turned to the tense.
