Two young men were wounded as result of shooting at #162 Public School in Tbilisi late last night. The men are placed at Republican Hospital. Investigation into the incident is ongoing under Articles 117 and 236 of Criminal Code of Georgia. Motives of the incident are not known. 

Malkhaz Lezhava, 42, local and shepherd from Mejvriskhevi village has been detained by Russian soldiers. Reporter of “Moambe” News Program of First Channel said that another shepherd witnessed how Lezhava was taken by Russian soldiers. The witness claimed that the man had not violated the so-called border. 

A newborn child was found in a toilet of one of the families in Lia village, Tsalenjikha district of Samegrelo region. Mother of the child is transferred to hospital with complications after giving birth. A criminal case is opened into the case. The crime envisages from 3 to 5 years in prison. 

The young woman was wounded presumably by her husband in Kutaisi town, Imereti regions of western Georgia last night.Woman has injures in head area. She has been transferred to the hospital and now is undergoing medical treatment at Reanimation Unit.  According to doctors her health condition is grave. Prosecutor’s office launched investigation into the case. According to unofficial information, the accused man is a police officer.In addition, as it became known for the Public Broadcaster, presumably woman suffers from self-Inflicted wounds.

Malkhaz Paksadze, 34-year-old man was killed in his house by a knife in Tbeti village, Tsalka district of southern Georgia's Kvemo Kartli region. Locals of the village burnt the house of presumable suspects of the crime several hours after the murder.According to Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), two persons were arrested on the murder and stabbing charges. Both of them were detained immediately, shortly after they committed the crime. Family members of the deceased man demand that the suspects are punished based on the law. Representatives of Special Task Unit remain at site. 

A young man was wounded with a gun-shot in Vake district of Tbilisi last night. The man was transferred to Republican Hospital. The patient, who had been inflicted three wounds in his leg, was operated on. His health condition is not life-threatening. The motive of the crime is not known. Experts of Criminal Police worked at the crime scene. 

A citizen born in 1992 inflicted injury to Gia Beridze, police officer with a knife in the vicinity of Railway Station in Batumi city of Adjara region. The operative group called on the man for observation of public order. The man did not obey to the order and was detained on fact of attack on policeman.

A Liberty Bank branch has been robbed in  Gldani district today morning.The amount taken by robbers has not been disclosed yet.Interior Ministry has launched an investigation into the case.

The car belonging to Avtandil Davitadze, Majoritarian (single mandate) MP Candidate of National Forum in Batumi parked in the vicinity of Alphabet Tower was robbed on August 22.Davitadze’s wife was visiting a swimming pool when the car was robbed. Officers of Criminal Police worked at site. Investigation is ongoing. 

A man born in 1961 was detained by law-enforcers on charge of having murdered his mother. The man cut off throat to his mother in Saburtalo district of Tbilisi with a knife and escaped from crime scene. The woman died. The man was detained in subway. He admitted to have committed the crime. Investigation into the case is in progress. 

The health condition of a wounded taxi driver, who was shot in his back by passengers following a verbal conflict, is reported to be stable. The incident took place at Gamsakhurdia Avenue in Tbilisi this morning. The taxi driver is placed at hospital. Two people are detained and investigation is ongoing.

Officers of Anti-Corruption Agency of State Security Service detained one person on bribery charge. As it was announced at a briefing today, State Security Service officers arrested Deputy Chief of Tbilisi City Hall’s Security Service Davit Mekantsishvili for taking a large amount of bribe.“The investigation established that Davit Mekantsishvili requested 50 000 GEL from a foreign businessman in exchange for speeding up auction procedures for 8271 square meters of land,"- reports the State Security Agency.The detainee faces imprisonment from 11 to 15 years if found guilty.   

Up to 17 people have been shot at a nightclub in the Florida city of Fort Myers, local broadcasters report.At least one person has been killed, broadcasters say.Police officers are at the nightclub, which was reportedly hosting a party for teenagers. Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) released a statement over detention of the so-called Georgian criminal boss. According to the ministry the officers of the Department of Fighting against Organized Crime have detained Teimuraz Ch., with the charges of being the so-called ‘thief-in-law’’, born in 1971.“As established by the investigation Teimuraz Ch. Lived in Russian Federation for the recent years and was recognized as the “criminal boss’’ in the criminal world. He was detained at Tbilisi International Airport when he arrived by Odessa-Tbilisi flight. Investigation is in progress,’ reads the statement.

Five Georgians were arrested in Marmaris resort of Turkey on charge of murdering a Turkish police officer. Reportedly, the Georgians were robbing a car when the 45-year-old law-enforcer arrived. The suspects inflicted wounds to the police officer with a knife in his neck and stomach areas and hit him by the car afterwards. The law-enforcer died before delivery to hospital. 

An 80-year-old woman was killed in Tbilisi. She was gagged with polyethylene bag. The dead body was discovered by her family members. Burglary is said to have served as the motive of the murder. Cash money is taken from the house. The woman lived with her sister. Experts of Criminal Police worked at the crime scene. Suspects of the crime are not detained yet. 

A husband killed his wife in Ponichala settlement of Tbilisi. The 20-year-old young woman was cut her throat. The man was detained red-handed, and the crime tool, a knife is confiscated. Jealousy is named to have served as motive of the murder. The 26-year-old man admits the guilt. Investigation is being held on charge of premeditated murder.
