Shorena Tetruashvili was questioned in so-called Cyanide case.


Prosecutor’s Office questioned Shorena Tetruashvili, Secretary-Referent of Georgian Patriarch. Questioning refers to the so-called Cyanide case.

Edisher Karchava, Lawyer of Patriarchate has made the regarding statement. Lawyer did not specify the exact date of interrogation, however noted that it happened at the weekend. 

In addition, according to Karchava, other people, to whom detained Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze had direct contact, also were questioned. 

Archpriest and Head of Patriarchate’s Property Management Service was detained on February 10, 2017, at Tbilisi International Airport before his departure to Germany. According to Prosecutor's Office poisonous substance - sodium cyanide, kept in a concealed manner, was seized upon the search of his luggage. Mamaladze is charge for attempted murder. The Prosecutor's Office does not specify the name of a possible victim.
