Tbilisi Court of Appeals satisfied the motion and replaced pre-detention sentences with bail.

Mikheil Mgaloblishvili has to pay bails worth GEL 50 000 and Giorgi Keburia GEL 20 000.

The Chief Prosecutor’s Office launched investigation into allegations of police abuse of authority into Birja Mafia case. According to office it launched the investigation based on the testimonies of Mgaloblishvili and Keburia, under the clause of the criminal code dealing with exceeding official powers and an article dealing with fabrication of evidence.

Law enforcers arrested members of Birja Mafia musical band on June 9. Giorgi Keburia and Mikheil Mgaloblishvili were imposed to pre trail imprisonment at the decision of Tbilisi City Court. 

They are charged for illegal keeping of drugs. Detainees say the police did this as the musical band caricatured police in its video clip earlier.
