Officers of Border Police of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained one person on charge of having attempted to cross the state border illegally.

The detained person tried to enter Georgia from the territory of Azerbaijan through by-passing a border checkpoint. Investigation is ongoing into the fact.
