Sitting of Tbilisi Sakrebulo turns out noisy

The controversial issue of change the zonal status to two land plots in Tbilisi has been approved at the sitting of Sakrebulo (City Assembly). Members of Environment Protection and Urban Planning Commissions considered the possibility of transferring the land-plot in hands of Panorama Company, which is building a hotel on the territory of Pushkin Square. 

The issue about nearby territories of Pushkin Square and Tabori Mount became the subject of dispute and clashed during the sitting. The Oppositional members left the sitting in protest. 

Members of National Movement and European Georgia parties insisted on adjournment of the sitting. Patrol police were called at site when the situation turned to the tense. Security service officers ordered the National Movement and European Georgia leaders to leave the place allocated for journalists at the Tbilisi City Council Session.
